I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at INRIA Grenoble in France. My research focuses on the reconstruction of astronomical images using optimization techniques and deep learning. Circumstellar discs — structures of gas and dust orbiting around stars — are particularly challenging to observe directly because they required high-contrast and high-angular resolution imaging. My work aims to restore and characterize circumstellar discs observed through high-contrast imaging techniques (adaptive optics and coronagraphy).

  • Image reconstruction: Variational approach, hyperparameter tuning, deep learning.
  • Wavelet transform: multidimensional data, adaptive techniques, frames.
  • Multivariate self-similarity: scaling exponents, bootstrapping, spectral clustering, high dimension.
